Francis B. Bauer Francis B. Bauer, 67, of 489 Peck's Road, died Thursday at the home of his daughter in Panama City, Fla., while on a winter visit.
Born in Pittsfield, the son of Albert E. Bauer and Bertha Jones Bauer Macintosh, he graduated from Pittsfield High School, and had been employed by the General Electric Co. as a welder for 38 years, retiring seven years ago. Mr. Bauer was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club and the Berkshire Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Amy A. Lillie, to whom he had been married 43 years in February; two daughters, Mrs. Susan E. Sullivan of Panama City and Mrs. Mar-got E. Dingwell of Dalton; a son, Francis A. Bauer of Adamuchy, N.J.; and five grandchildren. Calling hours at the Wellington Funeral Home are tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral win be at the Berkshire Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church on Monday morning at 11, with the Rev. Steven J. Farley, elder of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Pittsfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may donate in Mr. Bauer's memory to the Berkshire Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church building fund or the American Cancer Society
