German aristocrat Countess Alfred Schenk von Stauffenberg, born Caroline Countess Von Üxküll-Gyllenband, with her twins Berthold and Alexander,--born 1905. In 1907 she had another set of twin boys: Claus and Konrad.

On 20 July 1940, Col. Claus von Stauffenberg tried to assassinate Adolph Hitler with a bomb--called the Valkyrie operation. Hitler survived the blast. On 21 July 1940, the Nazis executed Claus, and later his elder brother Berthold, and his uncle Nikolaus von Üxküll-Gyllenband, #238987755; and other members of the German Resistance.
