Clinton MO - Lisette Fuchs Tubbesing, daughter of John and Helena Fuchs, was born Sep 7, 1866, in Jefferson County, MO, and departed earthly life April 26, 1930, at her home, one and one-half miles east of Quarles. She was found dead about 7 p.m. supposedly from a stroke of paralysis. April 2, 1891, she was united in marriage to John Tubbesing of Jefferson County. To this union eight children were born, two daughters and six sons. One daughter and two sons preceded their mother to the heavenly home. Herman, William, John and their wives are living near home; Lena and Harry at home. She leaves, besides her children and devoted husband, five grandchildren, one brother, Henry Fuchs; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Oetjen and Mrs. Matilda Vogt, all of Houses Springs, MO. She became a Christian when a child and had lived a devoted life until the time of her death. She was always ready to help those in need and was a friend indeed to everyone. Funeral services were held at the Quarles Baptist Church, at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, by Rev. Homer Delozier, a former pastor. After a short service at the graveside by Rev. G. C. Faulkner, pastor of the Quarles church, the remains were laid to rest in the Paul Cemetery.
