Archaeologist. Zelia Maria Magdalena Nuttall, called by many "The Princess of Archeology", was an American archaeologist and anthropologist known for being one of the first scholars to question the argument that the Aztecs were uncivilized and savage. She specialized in the investigation of pre-Hispanic manuscripts from Mesoamerica and carried out a very extensive investigation of the Tonindeye Codex, named in her honor the Nuttall Codex and she wrote the introduction to the first facsimile of this document.
