Virginia E. Schelk, 93, of Sheboygan passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. She was born April 3, 1924 to the late John and Christina Bersch in Crivitz, WI. Virginia worked for 22 years at Kohler Co. before retiring at 63 years of age. She greatly enjoyed her retirement. Virginia was the President of the VFW Post 8314 in Gillet for two years. She also enjoyed bowling and gardening in her youngers years. Virginia had a big heart for her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved to socialize and people genuinely enjoyed being around her.
Virginia is survived by her children Robert Jr. (Carol) King, LaRue King (fiancé Brian Lewandoske) and Barbara (Andrew) Lindsay; eight grandchildren Dawn King, Lisa King, Lamar King Jr., Nedra King, Brian Lindsay, Murray Lindsay, Elijah Lindsay and Christopher Schelk and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and her parents.
There will be a private graveside service for Virginia at Wildwood Cemetery with Rev. Timothy Mech of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
