The son of James and Annie (nee Nell). Husband of Alice (nee Raison) of Jolesfield Cottage, Partridge Green, Sussex.

His name is commemorated on the Partridge Green (St. Michaels) and West Grinstead War Memorial.

(Please note that unfortunately he has been listed as F S Watts by the CWGC has subsequently his headstone bears an incorrect name. A correct has been requested. 20th Jun 2012)

(On 9th Aug 2012 the CWGC agreed to amend their record from Private F S Watts to Private Frederick Watts. The "S" will be removed from his headstone in due course)
(Frederick's second name James was not used in his military record).
