Thomas "Chief" Dalton Cash Jr., 80, of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, N.C.

Tom was born on February 7, 1942, to the late Thomas Dalton Cash Sr. and Ruth Flake Cash. He attended Forsyth County schools and graduated from Wake Forest and Georgia Institute of Technology with his master's degree.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Sydna Sanford.

Mr. Cash is survived by his wife, Camilla McInnis Cash; children, Dalton Scott Cash (Julie), Kristin Camille Cash and Thomas Clayton Cash (Caroline); and six grandsons, Taylor, Dalton, John Thomas, Wells, Wade, and McInnis Cash.

He was a best friend, beloved husband, father, grandfather. He chose the grandpa name Chief and it fit. He was always ready to gather everyone and make a plan. He was and will always be Chief of the Cash family.
