Elsie Lee Collins, 86, of Selma, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998 at a local hospital. Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at Plantersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Survivors include grandchildren, Gaye (Bobby) Buchanan, Sandy (Steve) Hines, Bob (Dina) Collins and Chris (Gini) Collins; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Morris G. Collins and one son, James R. Collins.
Active pallbearers are Bobby Burnett, Leo Hamm, Buddy Hamm, Jason Buchanan, Bobby Buchanan and Peyton Mullen. Family visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
