He was working as a automotive technician to support his family and after being fascinated with Cải Lương, he decided to follow in his family's footsteps. After years of study and training, he started his acting career and joining the Huỳnh Long theater. Throughout his career, he starred in theater productions such as "Quan Công Đại Chiến Bàng Đức," "San Hà Xã Tắc," and "Giang Sơn và Mỹ Nhân." In 1996, he won a gold medal for his performance in "Trọng Thủy – Mỵ Châu." He continued his acting career until his death.
