She was born September 10, 1930, in Glen Dale, WV, daughter of the late John H. and Olga Kettlewell.

In addition to her parents, Neltje was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jack Landers; one brother, David Kettlewell; three sisters, Jacqueline Dusenberry, Olga Selan, Alice Gooldin; and her beloved pet, Pico.

Surviving are her three children, John P. Wagner (Kelly) of Los Angeles, CA, JoAnn "Jodie" Slie (Rusty) of Wheeling, WV, Colbert Lee Wagner of Wheeling, WV; one sister, Joan Gray (Gene) of Glen Dale, WV; two grandsons, Robert Slie of Wheeling, WV, and Jason Slie (Elizabeth) of Berlin Heights, OH; seven great grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Renee, Alexis, Ava, Jonah, and Colson Slie; and several nieces and nephews.

Neltje was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Elliot School of Banking. She was a member of Silver Reef Chapter of Eastern Star in St. George, UT, past Worthy Matron for Silver Reef Chapter for State of Utah, a member of Marshall County Women's Club, Red Hat Society, and South Wheeling Preservation Society (SWAPA).

Friends will be received at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-232-2732) on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 4-8 pm and again Friday, December 2, 2022, from 10 am until time of service at 11 am with Mr. Ryan Parsons (Pulpit Minister) officiating.
