She began her acting career at a young age and at the age of 18, she won a Thanh Tâm prize for her performance in "Cát Dung Phương Tử." Throughout her acting career, she starred in theater productions such as "Tiếng Trống Sang Canh," "Phụng Nghi Đình," "Khi Rừng Mới Sang Thu," "Mùa Thu Trên Bạch Mã Sơn," and "Sầu Quan Ải" with her colleagues such as Thanh Nga, Tấn Tài, Út Trà Ôn and Nam Hùng, to whom she was formerly married and with whom she had a child. In addition to her acting career, she recorded tân and vọng cổ songs. Following the reunification of Vietnam, she continued her career and went on to starred in the video productions of Cải Lương plays. Due to health issues, she retired from acting on stage.
