Robert Emde, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 27, 1940, in Bayside, N.Y. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired Metro Police detective and a member of the Police Protection Association. He is survived by three daughters, Joanne Cox, Jeanne Delio and Dawn Emde, and one son, Christopher Emde, all of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Georganne Cook of Overton; two brothers, Thomas Emde and Gerard Emde, both of New York; and five grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
