LAST RITES WILL
BE HELD MONDAY

CHESTERTON. Dec. 22. -- Memorial services for Charles Emmanuel Anderson, 65, residing on Waverly Rd., Chesterton, will be held Monday.
Anderson died at 10:40 a.m. Friday in Clinic hospital, Michigan City, after a 36 hour illness.
The decedent was born in Chicago in 1880, a son of John and Mary Anderson. For many years he was employed as a stationary engineer in Chicago. During the last year he was employed by the Isbey Plumbing Co., Michigan City.
On Jan. 3, 1912, he married Alida Solomon, in Chicago. The couple came to Westchester Twp., in 1937.
He was a member of the Augsburg Lutheran church of Porter, and a 32nd degree Mason.
Surviving are the widow, Alida; one son, Frank, of the U. S. Navy, stationed at Philadelphia; four daughters, Mrs. Alida Sales, New York City; Mrs. Carol Ahrendt, RFD 3, Chesterton; Mrs. Grace Rittluger, Chicago, and Cynthia, at home; one sister, Mrs. Edith Strychler, Chicago, and on grandchild.
Memorial services Monday at the Flynn-Johnson funeral home, with Rev. Carl I. Fant, of the Augsburg Lutheran church officiating. Burial in Augsburg cemetery.
