Lena Irene Lingelbach, 86, of Barstow died Tuesday at home. The cause of death unknown, pending a doctor's report.
Lingelbach, native of Traer, Kan., lived in Barstow 40 years.
She worked as a teacher 46 years and worked for the Barstow Unified School District for 18 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Barstow.
Survivors include two daughters, Annie M. Roberts Tenney and Lorene K. Baldwin. both of Barstow; her brother, Ivan Thomas of Greybull, Wyo; three sisters Alta Berggren of Longmont, Colo., Luella Mohler of Boise, Idaho and Marjorie Good of Sterling, Colo; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday with services at 11 a.m. Monday, both at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Fort Irwin Road, Barstow. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Fort Irwin Road, Barstow."
