Howard Monroe Barron passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

He was born August 9, 1927, and was the son of Earnest "Nap" and Annie Barron in McComb, Mississippi.
Howard was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired in 1973 at the rank of Master Sergeant. Howard continued his career at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS until his second retirement.

Howard is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Ida Virginia Barron (Smith) laid to rest February 10, 2023, Son Stanley Barron, and Daughter Susan Barron.

Howard is survived by two sons, Michael (Norrie) Barron and Ronald Barron, 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and one great -great Granddaughter.

Howard Monroe Barron's life will be honored at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb MS on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, with visitation at 10 AM and service officiated by Dr. David Millican at 11 AM. Burial will be at Barron Bethany Cemetery and will include military honors.
