GAYE RULE OBITUARY
Gaye Elizabeth Moritz Rule. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gaye Elizabeth Moritz Rule of Lakewood, Ohio on November 9, 2023. She was born on November 26, 1943, to Milton Arthur Moritz (missing in action in World War II) and Margaret Ann Moritz in Lakewood, Ohio. She graduated from Lakewood High School, Ohio University, and had a degree of Master of Arts in French from the University of California at Santa Barbara on August 4, 1989. She received degrees in French and Spanish going on to teach in Chicago and for many years retiring from the Bay Village School System. Gaye taught French and Spanish in the middle and high schools of Bay Village. She was a very dedicated educator to her students. Gaye spent many years volunteering at Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland as an interpreter. Gaye was very concerned about our environment and the living conditions and treatment especially of women around the world. Her many contributions were well received by numerous organizations. Planned International and Doctors Without Borders were on the top of her list. Any donations may be made to these organizations in her name. (440) 333-9774 www.buschcares.com
