It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John H. Biehl in his 78th year.

He was the son of the late Harold and Helene Biehl.

Loving husband and proud father.

Many hugs came from his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his sister and his brother.

Predeceased by his son J. Trevor Biehl

John enjoyed participating in many sports and ran the hockey league, made league schedules, and coached and played hockey and baseball. Many hours were also spent as a referee and umpire. He could also be found lobbying balls on the golf course or taking a "déjà vu 64" to a car show with Sheila by his side.

A service was held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Tolmie Presbyterian Church in Port Elgin with a Celebration of life that followed at the Port Elgin Legion.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank or Tolmie Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.

A special "Thank You" is sent to the doctors and nurses of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital for the care and kindness they provide in his last days.
