Christine Ann Fleek, 28, Donald Robert Fleek, 25, and Andrea Elizabeth Fleek, 15, died March 14 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Girdwood. A funeral was held at the Anchorage Native Assembly, 916 E. 11th Ave., with the Rev. Michael Curtis officiating. Parish members acted as pallbearers for Christine and Andrea. Pallbearers for Donald included Charles Britt, Eldon Gibson, Steve Martin, Tim Green, Jay Stevens and John Schj-enken. The Fleeks were buried this spring in Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery.
Andrea was born Dec. 27, 1976, in Anchorage. She had attended Clark Junior High and was currently in the Search Program. Andrea played basketball, baseball and ran track for her junior high school. She enjoyed drawing, swimming, writing poems, and was a very outgoing girl, her family said. She always wanted to help others and was a very giving person. She was a member of CIRI. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Fleek, and three uncles, Delfin, Kermit, and Nile Ceasar.
She is survived by her mother, Julia, and sister, Colleen, both of Anchorage; her brother, Jeff of Albany, Ore.; her grandparents, Julia Hall of Juneau, Tom Evenson of Rudyard, Mont., and Charlotte Fleek of Lebanon, Ore.; her aunts, Mary Ceasar of Juneau, Marilyn Evenson of Anchorage, and Andrea Meese of Brush Prairie, Wash.; her uncles, Lorn Horn of Shumass, Wash., Tom Evenson Jr. of Juneau, and Roger of Lebanon; and many cousins. Arrangements were by Evergreen Memorial Chapels.
