FORT MYERS NEWS-PRESS, Nov. 12, 1946 - James (Jim) Ed Williams, 76, died at his home 2609 Polk Street, yesterday afternoon. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ellen Goldie Williams, a daughter, Mrs. H. D. Montgomery, Fort Meyrs; five sons, Rex, James, Percy, Russell and Bard; four sisters, Mrs. Floyd Drawdy, Mrs. Bertha Tippins, Mrs. Effie Lanier and Mrs. Eavey Lewis; a brother, J. Leon Williams. Funeral services wil be held this afternoon at two o'clock from the Lawrence A. Powell chapel with the Rev. E. M. Ellis officiating. The pallbearers will be Clarence Sherouse, Clarence Cleveland, Orval Sloan, Leroy Sloan, Horace Tippins and Fred McDaniel. Interment will be in the Fort Myers Cemetery.
