CLEONA - Ruth A. Sherk, 88, of 130 S. Harris St. died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a Rexmont native and a member of Avon United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Paul H. Sherk Sr. Surviving are a son, Donald M., and a daughter, Doris Dengler, both of Lebanon; a brother, Edward Carpenter; two sisters, Isabelle May and Helen Ebright; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Taylor-Ruffner Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in Cornwall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
