Debra Augustin
(1952-1987)
Debra Kay Augustin was born Nov. 26, 1952, in Austin, Minn., the daughter of Walter and Mabel Hyland. She attended Austin High School and resided in Austin until 1979 when she moved to Marcell, Minn. She returned to Austin in 1981, residing at 203 6th St. NW. Her marriage to Arthur M. Augustin took place March 27, 1976 at St. Ansgar, Iowa. She was a partner in the Lakewood Cafe and Laundrymat at Marcell from 1979 to 1981. Mrs. Augustin was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and the ACT Program.
She died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1987, at the Emergency Room, St. Olaf Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur M. Augustin; a son, Randy M. Augustin, Austin. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Mabel Hyland.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 26, 1987, at Christ Episcopal Church, Rev. John F. Glover officiating. Mrs. Kermeth Northwick was organist. Interment was in Grandview Memorial Gardens with pallbearers Palmer Rohwer, Richard Rohwer, John Rohwer, Steve Rohwer, Jim Rohwer, Robert Berg. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary was in charger of arrangements.
