Mr. Kott was born Jan. 22, 1944 in Austin, TX to Vernon Herrin and Lela Mae Hollis Herrin. Vernon served in the United States Airforce from 1961 to 1965. He married Kay Smith July 23, 1963 in Fort Worth.
He is preceded in death by his parents Vernon Herrin and Lela Mae Mayo, one great nephew & both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Left behind to cherish his memories are: His wife of 44 years, Kay "GiGi" Kott of Paradise; sons, Vernon Kott, Jr. and fiancee, Tricia Terrell of Paradise, Brandon Kott and wife, Michelle of Paradise and Travis Kott and wife Stephanie of Paradise; daughter, Laurie Kott of Ft.
