Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lyndon Glaesman, of New Orleans, and the Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Pyle was born in Cheyenne, Okla., and had lived in Pampa since 1974. He worked with Santa Fe Railway and for IRI International until retiring in 1984.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Pyle married Earma Tignor in 1950 at Sayre, Okla. He was preceded in death by a son, Lynn L. Pyle, in 1996.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Willaina Alexander and Carla Taylor, both of Pampa; two sons, Larry Pyle and Doug Pyle, both of Pampa; a sister, Maurice Hagood of Canyon; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Calvary Baptist Church building fund, 900 E. 23rd, Pampa, TX 79065.
