Son of the late Charles Laubach and Anna K. Armbrecht Laubach. He lived in Okeene area all his life. He served with the United States Army and gained the rank of staff sergeant. On July 8, 1956, he married Betty Lehr. He retired as chief of police. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the V.F.W., and Oklahoma Police Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife as well as seven brothers and one sister and great-grandson. He was survived by two daughters and an extended family of relatives and friends. His funeral was held December 8, 2007, with The Rev. George Rowe officiating.
