She was baptized on April 19, 1931, and later confirmed on April 2, 1944, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELS) in Arlington. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1949 and attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
On August 30, 1952, she married John Paulmann at St. Paul's Lutheran, and joined him on the family farm near Gaylord, where they raised two daughters, Kristine (Glaeser) and Lisa (Holberg).
She was employed with the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service/Farm Service Agency (ASCS/FSA), a branch of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, until her retirement, at which time she worked for Morreim Pharmacy in Arlington.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran in Arlington, and its' Mission Society. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed life.
On Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008, she passed away at her residence in rural Gaylord after an extended and courageous battle with cancer. She was laid to rest on Thursday, March 27, 2008.
