Sophie was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1966. She completed her Dietary Management training at Indiana Vocational Technical College and retired as a dietary manager from West Woods of Niles Nursing Home.
Sophie loved cooking and was known for making great kieflies and pierogies. She enjoyed listening to polka music and was well versed in writing and speaking the Polish language. Her pastimes included playing Scrabble, volunteering, traveling, watching the Food network, and old detective and games shows.
She was proceeded in death by her brother Stanley J. Kubica Jr. and her beloved companion Lloyd Bolton.
