Elaine lived most of her life in Levittown, New York. She worked as a telephone operator. After retirement, she moved to Nebraska to be closer to her daughters, first to Grand Island and then to Lincoln. While in Nebraska, Elaine enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as Gigi. Husker Saturdays were special as she wore red and became an avid Husker fan.
Preceded in death by her husband James (1970) and son Peter (2016).
Memorial service: 11:00 am Saturday, August 26, 2023, Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive. Interment at Long Island National Cemetery in New York.
