She graduated from Bellaire High School and had been a resident of Orrville for more than 50 years. She was a homemaker and had been previously employed at the former Orrville Milk Co.
Laura was a member of Christ United Church of Christ and had been active in many church avivities. She had also been avtive in Girl Scouts and Orrville Band Parents, when her daughters were attendong Orrville schools. She was an avid bridge player.
Surviving are a daughter, Sally (Robert) Rapp of Moreland Hills; and grandchildren, Jennifer and Stephanie Leeper, Jeffery Rapp.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Leeper and sisters, Elizabeth Conklin and Vera Howell.
