Marietta Bielert
Funeral services for Marietta G. Bielert, 61, of 1404 N. Neil st., Champaign, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm st., Champaign. The Rev. Daniel Wisemann officiated.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs Bielert was born March 21, 1932, at Armstrong, a daughter of George and Grace Davis Carl. She married Paul E. Bielert on Nov. 19, 1949 at Rantoul. He Survives.
Also surviving are her mother of aRoyal; a son, Kevin Bielert of Philo, one grandchild; and a brother, Charles Carl of Royal.
She was preceded in death by her father and a son.
Mrs. Bielert worked at the First National Bank of Champaign for 39 years, most recently as a teller. She attended Ogden High School. She was a Lutheran and was a Cardinals baseball fan.
