Services for Pauline Reiber, 83, of Riverton, will be Tuesday at 2 pm at Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Peters officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
A retired farmwife, Mrs. Reiber was born 13 Oct 1902 in Lincoln, NE. She married William Reiber Jr. on 1 May 1921 in Scottsbluff, NE. The couple moved to Riverton in 1939. Mr. Reiber preceded her in death 16 Feb 1964. Mrs. Reiber was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son, William Herbert Reiber of Riverton; two daughters, Stella Berlin of Pasadena, CA, and Elnora Ogg of Riverton; a brother, Fred Stricker of Scottsbluff; a sister, Lydia Benzel of Ritzville, WA; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial to an organization of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Pauline's obituary states that she was born in Lincoln, NE, but actually she was born in Erlenbach, Saratov, Russia - Father David K. Stricker; Mother: Anna Baker - both of Erlenbach. Anna Baker died in Erlenbach, they had 8 children, and David Stricker remarried to Marie Ziegler, a widow who brought with her 5 children. The 1920 U. S. Census shows the combined family in 1920. The family immigrated to the U. S. in 1912.
