Left for America in the winter of 1904 via St. Petersburg to England to New York, arrived Nov. 19, 1904 on the Steam Ship St. Paul, to Woodbine, KS to home of Frederick Winik (or Wienich), father-in-law. Homesteaded in Kearney Co., KS in 1912. Naturalized U.S. citizen 1935.
