Rafal Jan Nogiec, 47, of Derby, CT, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Rafal was born and raised in Kolbuszowa, Poland, and emigrated to the United States in 1996, living in Wallington, NJ for 10 years, then in Stamford, CT for 16 years before settling in Derby, CT in 2022. Rafal worked as a carpenter throughout his career. He enjoyed bike riding, watching professional soccer, and spending time with his family. Rafal was a kind, loving, and caring person who filled the lives around him with jokes and laughter. Rafal was the beloved son of Stanislaw Nogiec and the late Maria Nogiec (nee Zimny), the loving brother of his twin sisters, Joanna and Anna Nogiec, brother-in-law Slawek, dear uncle of Victoria and Daniel (his Godson). He will be sorely missed by many loving family members and friends here in the United States and in Poland.
