Martha Johanna Briese, 94, widow of the late Herman L. Briese of 8056 N. Palafox Hwy., died Tuesday evening at a nursing home.
Mrs. Briese, a native of Germany, had resided in Pensacola since her marriage in 1905. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include four daughters, Edna Wallace of Jacksonville, Margarete Schmitt, Martha Dickson and Katie Campbell, all of Pensacola; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Thursday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Kienzier officiating.
Burial will be at the St. John's Cemetery with Fisher-Pou Funeral Service directing.
Pallbearers will be Robert F. Kast, Raymond Campbell, James Greunke, T. H. Kast, John W. Mashburn and Willy Tausend.
