Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Mollie (Popp) Wegner; husbands Frank Woodrow Wrzesinski, Virgil John Norton, Adger Eston (Jim) Stewart; brothers Ed Wegner, Wilhelm (Bill) Wegner and Stanley Wegner; son Martin R. Wrzesinski, and son-in-law Joe Walker.
Surviving Mary are her children, Margaret Robbins of Tahlequah, Cindy Ong and Chick of Pleasant Valley, CA, and Kenny and Mindy Wrzesinski of Pleasant Valley, CA. She is also survived by her loving sisters Betty Grove of Billings, MT, Lillian Devries and Bruce of Molt, MT, and her brothers Bruce Wegner and Emma of Shawmut, MT, Kenny Wegner and Shirley of Billings, MT. Mary's legacy also lives on in her 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren, who will continue to remember her with love and admiration.
Mary's journey of lifelong learning was exemplified when she attained her GED in 1970, demonstrating her commitment to personal growth and education. Mary's primary role was as a homemaker, providing a warm and loving environment for her family. She also worked occasionally as a waitress, bringing the same level of dedication and care to her work as she did to her family.
Above all, Mary was a woman of strong faith. She was a regular attendee of the First Lutheran Church in Tahlequah, remaining active in the church until she was no longer able. Her faith was not just confined to the church; it was part of her everyday life, guiding her actions and interactions with everyone she met. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Ladies in Yuma, AZ, where she enjoyed the camaraderie and fellowship of this vibrant group.
Mary's life was characterized by her love for her family, her devotion to her faith, and her commitment to service. In her passing, she leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and faith that will continue to inspire her family and all who knew her.
