Mrs. Marie W. Schaumkessel, 218 22 avenue north, died Monday at 1:10 p. m. at her home at the age of 58 years. She was born in Germany, coming to the United States in 1891. She lived in Grundy county, Towa, and in 1898 came to Jackson county in Minnesota. Her marriage to Carl Schaumkessel took place on Nov. 26, 1900.

Mr. Schaumkessel survives with one daughter, Mrs. Urban Seibert. There are four sisters Mrs. Ben Johnson of Caron, Iowa; Mrs F. W. Wahl of Lakefield; Mrs. Christ
Kramer, Mountain Lake; Mrs. Peter Peterson, Alpha; and two brothers, Fred and John Vogel of Lakefield. Marie Josephine Seibert is a granddaughter.

The body is at the Tschumperlin Funeral home until Wednesday morning when it will be taken to Lakefield. The funeral service will be held in the Methodist church at Lakefield at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and burial made in the family lot in Lakefield cemetery.
