Gill was a loving husband, brother, uncle and loyal friend. He served his country in the military from 1975-1987 as a flight engineer.
He then became a pilot working with several airlines throughout his career finally retiring with Southwest Airlines in August of 2020.
One year to the month he was diagnosed with throat cancer being told it was one of the easiest to cure. After 2 plus years fighting the beast and treatment repercussions, he died peacefully at home surrounded by love.
Gill was raised in Marietta, Ga. and passed away in Lynchburg, Tn. The time in between he was able to travel and see the world. Along with flying, he loved driving, sometimes a little too fast, as well as playing golf and boating.
He leaves behind a faithful wife in TN. along with family in Georgia, Florida, Montana and Texas, friends - everywhere.
