Formerly of Dunlap

Patrick Eugene Lampe was born on December 12, 1952, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Pat attended school in West Bend through 7th grade. The family then moved to a farm south of Dow City and Pat attended Dow City School graduating in 1971. After working a couple of years at miscellaneous jobs he found his lifetime career as a UPS Driver. Pat married Vickie Laubscher on April 13, 1991. They were known as the ultimate married couple spending very little time apart from each other and created a wonderful life together. Pat retired after more than 30 years with UPS.

Pat was a faithful and devoted member of the Catholic church, and his faith was very important to him. After retirement Vickie & Pat enjoyed a life of travel interspersed with spending time on Table Rock Lake in Missouri and their winter home in Gold Canyon, Arizona.

Pat loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. He was devoted to his children. However, it was well known that the grandchildren were the light of his life. Family vacations were always a priority. Snow skiing, boating, cruises and vacations were just a few of his favorite things to do with family and friends. The couple enjoyed hosting and Pat loved being the ultimate party planner and was known for his organizational skills. He excelled at making sure everyone was having a good time. Everyone knew that if you needed any advice or assistance on any project that Pat was the one to call. He was a respected and active member of any community that he lived in. He will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.
