Wax will officiate. J. W. Norris Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Samfield, a retired printer, died at his home in Chicago, Illinois about 4 a.m. on Friday. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee 81 years ago and moved to Chicago about 35 year ago. His father died about 45 years ago while serving as spiritual leader of Temple Israel.
