Monte Bruce Miller, aged 60 of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on the evening of January 25th, 2024, after an almost 10 year battle with early onset Alzheimer's Disease.

Born on October 10th, 1963 in San Bernardino, California, Bruce and his family moved around every few years while his father served in the Air Force. He made Reno his permanent home in the early 90s where he began his career as a Pilot for Southwest Airlines. Having obtained his pilot's license at the young age of 16, flying was Bruce's passion. It was this job that led him to his wife of 27 years, Kelli Miller.

In 1998, two years after marrying, Bruce and Kelli started their family, welcoming their first born son. Two years later, they welcomed their first daughter and four years after that, their second daughter and final child. Bruce was a devoted husband and father, always putting his loved ones first and worked hard to give his family a good life. In his free time, Bruce loved spending time with his family and dogs. He enjoyed biking and working out, and spending summer days up at Lake Tahoe with his family. He loved music, and loved sharing it with his children. Most of all, Bruce loved making people laugh. He left people better than he found them.

To those who knew him, remember him as the comic he was, always cracking jokes and putting a smile on everyone's face. Remember him as the loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather that was selfless, generous, humble and kind. How much love, light, and happiness he brought to all around him. He will forever be missed.

Bruce was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his only son, Joshua Miller. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kelli Miller, his two daughters, Rachel and Sarah, his two young grandsons Ben and Matty, and his two older sisters, Alicia and Michele.

Private family services are being planned.

Ecclesiastes 12:7
