Mrs Shelnutt's Grandfather John Morgan founding member of Hog Mountain Baptist Church died from measles shortly after enlisting in the confederate army and was interned(1864) in Arlington National Cemetery. In 1919 during the flu epedemic Dr. G. S. Kelley last saw Mrs Shelnutt alive on January 14. 1919 and listed on death certificate that death occured on Jan 15. 1919 at 1am. Mrs Shelnutt was buried the same day. Mrs Shelnutt's leap yr Birth came on a Sunday. Mrs Shelnutt died on Wednesday the 15th, and her death certificate was issued #863. Mrs Shelnutt lived in Buford near Gravel Springs Rd.
