After an illness of over two weeks, Mrs. Eva Benner died at the home of her son, George Benner, on Tuesday night.
Mrs. Benner was born in Walter Russia, October 4, 1838, and had reached the ripe old age of 88 years. In 1906 she came to Montana, where she has spent her time with her daughter, Mrs. Jacob Giesick, and her son, George. Two sons, John and Jackob, and a daugher, Mrs. Katherine Margaret Dell, also survive her in Walter, Russia. She leaves behind her 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at Laurel at the German Congregational Church with Rev. Kissler officiating. Internment was made in Park City cemetery.
A large cortege of friends paid their last respects to one who had been active until her last illness. The esteem in which she was held was exemplified by teh number of floral tributes.
