In 1948, he was united in marriage to Ruth Finley, who perceded him in death in 1949.
In 1951, he was united in marriage to Mildred Lucille Chaney, and together they shared thirty-two years before her passing on July, 16, 1983.
He was also perceded in death by his parents; a step-daughter, Shirley Finley; a step-son Thomas Robert McKenzie; four brothers, Ulysses, Anderson, Richard, and Russell Griffin; and four sisters, Bessie Hoskins, Lori Waugh, Pearl Rogers, and Jessie Brown.
Henry is survived by a daughter, Nancy K. Griffin Longo, of Lebanon, Missouri; a step-son Kenneth Leroy Zeornes, of Marshfield, Missouri; two grandaughters, Doris Mace and Angela Teubner, both of Lebanon, Missourithree setp-grandaughters, Patricia McKenzie, Deanna Campbell, and Amanda Ward all of Lebanon, Missouri; four step-grandsons, Kenny Bea Zeornes, of Sedalia, Missouri, Kerry Zeornes and Tim Harris , of Lebanon, Missouri, and Michael Zeornes, of Kansas City, Missouri; a great-grandaughter Karen Burgess, of Lebanon, Missouri; and a great-grandson Trenton Teubner, of Lebanon, Missouri; ten step-great-grandchildren; a brother Bill Griffin, of Kansas City, Missouri; a sister Marie Ford, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of neices and nephews; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
He liked visiting with his neighbors and particularly loved the the neighborhood children. His family was always important to him and he loved taking care of them. He enjoyed being with his family and especally loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Henry was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remimbered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
