Born in Louisiana to Lucie Delpit Tiblier and Ferdinand J. Tiblier, he graduated from LSU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served as a corporal in the U. S. Marine Corp during WWII. He began his career in engineering with firms in Memphis, Tennessee including Jack Fowler and Charlie Cash. He retired from Brown and Root in 1985 as a Mechanical Engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law Jimmy Wyatt, Sr., his sister and her husband Anita Flemming and Partee, his brothers-in-law Benny Provost and Sugar Provost.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Rita Provost Tiblier, his daughter Carolyn Wyatt, his sons Robert J. Tiblier and his fiancée Janet Bedwell, George R. Tiblier and his wife Kelley, Tim Tiblier and Thomas Tiblier and his wife Patricia, his grandchildren Dawn Kortz, Dana Lewis, Heather Wyatt, Jeanne Wyatt, Jimmy Wyatt, Jr., Christopher G. Tiblier, Jill Pratho, Rachel Tiblier, Tommy Tiblier, Jr., Jean Paul Tiblier, Jr., Christina Tiblier, Michelle, Chrissy and Dani Poulson, great grandchildren, Kasey Kortz, Shelby Kortz, Amaya Lewis, Hannah and Hunter Buys, Skyler Tiblier along with nieces and nephews, Geraldine Millaway, Jimmy Fleming and Anita Corbitt.
