Mary K Juersivich, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Pleasant View Nursing Home.
A native of Kansas, she was an area resident most of her life. Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, I.C.C. Senior Citizens Club, and the Grandmothers Club.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1996, and by brothers, Jack Kirgesner in September 2001 and Pete Kirgesner in 2002.
She is survived by daughters, Marlene Boatwright of Akron, Jo-Marie (Michael) Bronco of Coventry; son, Jim Juersivich of Akron; grandchildren, Scott Bronco, Jim (Suzanne) Juersivich, Julie Watts, Jennifer (Jeff) Sturak, Michelle and Mark Boatwright, and Marlene Hockman; great- grandchildren, Hailee, Hunter Hockman, Mason and Madison Juersivich.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 18, 2002, at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment at Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd., on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family wishes to thank Pleasant View Nursing Home, especially Nursing Unit 2 and the many nurses, nurses aides, therapy, and activities for all their care and compassion in taking care of our mother. A special thanks to a "special nurses' aide" who sat with me the night mom passed.
