Cecile was born on Aug. 14, 1911 in Harvard, Clay County, Neb. to John and Margaret (Deines) Hohnstein.
She graduated from Worland High School in 1930. She worked for Reed's Drug Store in Worland and then became a telephone operator for Mountain Bell Telephone Company where she was the chief operator for a short time. On Jan. 4, 1947 she married Rex Ludicke in Red Lodge, Mont. Rex passed away in 1990. Cecile moved to the Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in October of 2001.
Cecile loved to read and watch television. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elizabeth Troseth; brothers, George, Lawrence and Harry Hohnstein; and step-sisters, Genevieve, Clara and Tina.
She is survived by one nephew, Jack Troseth of Worland; a great-nephew, John Troseth, Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; and a great-niece, Kathryn Snook of Missoula, Mont.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 12 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel in Worland. The cremains will be placed in the Columbarium at St. Alban's Episcopal Church following the services.
