"Philippine Katharine, the dear daughter of Martin Ruff and his wife Anna, was born Feb. 24, 1839 and died Dec. 15, 1852 and buried Dec. 17, 1852. Died as a very well thought of a benevolent church attendant. She was the joy of her pastor and loved by all in school."
