OBITUARY: "George Jungbluth, lifelong resident of the Town of Merton, passed away peacefully January 26, 2011, at the age of 93 years.

He was born February 11, 1917, to parents John and Irene. He attended Swallow School when it was a one room school house, graduated from Hartland High and attended Marquette University. George farmed with his father, brother, uncles and great uncles in the Town of Merton and was retired from the State of WI Division of the Hwy. Department. He was a lifelong faithful member of St.Charles Catholic Church. George loved nature, especially his woods and his garden.

Preceded in death by his son George and his beloved wife of 49 years Grace. He is survived by his children Mary (the late Frederick) Martin, Patricia (the late Gene) Barber Michael Jungbluth and Peter Jungbluth, 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and his brother John Jungbluth. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday at St. Charles Catholic Church 313 Circle Dr. Hartland. Visitation at church from 4:00 PM until the time of the Mass. Final rest will be in St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Charles Kitchen or Grounds Fund.
