Charles Lynn Jackson, 59, of Sharpsburg died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at his home.

He was born Aug. 7, 1945, in Pittsburgh to Virginia D. Jackson and the late Alexander Jackson.

He was a machinist for International Paper Co., president and coach of Sharpsburg Baseball Association, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a life member, four-year board member and Junior Vice of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 709, Sharpsburg.

Also surviving are his wife, Ruth Ann (Stokes) Jackson, and son, Keith L. Jackson of Sharpsburg.

Friends wil be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the GARY R. RITTER FUNERAL HOME, Sharpsburg, where services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Dr. Donald M. Bolls officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, O'Hara.

Arrangements by the WORRELL FUNERAL HOME INC., Sharpsburg.
