Mrs. Kathryn Erb Of Whipple Dies

Mrs. Kathryn Erb, 41, wife of Homer Erb, died Monday at her home at Whipple, following illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Doudna and McClure's. Rev. W. L. Spielman will officiate. Interment will be in Salem Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Erb was born Sept. 12, 1903 in Marietta and was a daughter of the late Louis P. and Kathryn Zimmer Stephan. She was a graduate of Marietta High School. Following her marriage with Homer H. Erb, her home was at Whipple. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church; and was president of the Whipple Guild.

Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Sally Erb; two step-sons, Claud Erb, E.M. 3/c, who is in the U.S, Navy in the Pacific; and Paul Erb of the family home.

Brothers and sisters are Carl Stephan, Walter Stephan, Louis Stephan, Dewey Stephan, Mrs. Stella Chamberlain, Miss Mae Stephan, Mrs. Ralph Oesterle, Mrs. Harry Meister and Miss Mildred Stephan all of Marietta, and Mrs. Thomas Ridge of Cincinnati.
