JAMES F. PATTERSON
James F. Patterson, aged 74, the last of six children of Thomas and Jane Patterson of North Shenango township, died at his home three miles north of Hartstown, Thursday at 9 p.m., after several weeks illness. He was born in North Shenango township and had been a resident there practically all his life.
He was a generous supporter of the Hartstown U.P. church and for a good many years an elder. He had many outstanding characteristics which endeared him to his friends. He was married to Miss Francy McMillan, of Atantic and to them was born a son, Stewart. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife and son, and a host of friends.
Funeral services are to be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m., at the Hartstown U.P. church, with the pastor, the Rev. J. Alvin Hazlett, officating. Interment will take place in the Hartstown cemetery.

James Patterson, a highly respected citizen, died Thursday night at his farm home near Hartstown. He was the last survivor of a pioneer family of Western Crawford. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife and one son, Stewart Patterson.
Funeral from the Hartstown United Presbyterian Church at 2 o'clock p.m. Sunday, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. Alvin Hazlett. Interment in the Hartstown cemetery.
